Abstract In this work, a series of silica glass photonic crystal fibers (PCFs) were designed through implementation numerical method [1] based on an experimental model that allows the calculation chromatic dispersion from two structural parameters PCFs. Then, PCFs fabricated by stretching structured preform using calculated preliminary design. Some characterization techniques implemented with aim to find PCF and optical properties. Finally, developed used for supercontinuum generation.
